F A Q

How do your fees work?

I charge a flat fee per project. Before I start working, we will have a consultation call where we discuss your budget and needs, and afterward, I will send over a proposal for you to sign so that we are both in agreement about cost before work begins.

Do I have to pay up front?

I charge 50% of the total project price up front to secure your slot. The other 50% is charged at the end of the project, once you are happy with your designs. Note that these calculations do not include any addons after the project begins, such as additional revisions or change of scope. These will be charged on the second invoice as separate line items.

How much notice do you need?

The benefit of hiring a smaller designer is that I often have availability within a few weeks. Feel free to inquire, and if I can’t make your desired timeframe work, I’ll suggest some alternatives when I reach back out. Keep in mind that I am a single designer, and brand identity projects generally take me 4-6 weeks or more to complete.

This depends on your current branding and my level of comfort with integrating your current designs into my style (or vice versa,) but generally, yes. Note that this may not result in a lower fee because the design process will require more effort on my part to match your current branding.

I like my logo, but everything else needs a refresh. Can you help?

I usually do my social media posts in Canva. Can I keep doing that?

Yes! Let me know at our consultation and I will be sure to create a Canva template with your final designs so that uploading to social media stays as streamlined as possible for you.

Help, I can’t find my files!

I upload all working files and images to Google Drive, so you can access them at any time with the link provided. Furthermore, anyone you share the link with, such as social media managers or blog writers, will also be able to access the files. I save my client files for one year, so if for some reason the link becomes broken, feel free to reach back out and I will do my best to help.

Can you also build my website for me?

Not yet, but I hope to be able to add that service within the next year or so!

How do I print my files?

Make sure you are using the print-ready versions of your files, these are created with printer-compatible colors. Your printer may require different formats, such as .svg or .tiff. I do not work directly with printers, but I am happy to send over additional file types should you need them.
